Biography

Pamela Denise Anderson was born on July 1, 1967 in the
town of Ladysmith, Province of British Columbia, in Canada.
Her family then moved to Comox, Canada, 285 miles north
of Vancouver. Pamela got some exposure as a photographic
subject at an early age. One day in a grade school library a
cameraman took a photo of her listening to a story with a
large group of children. The photo immediately became
popular and was placed in libraries all over British Columbia.
As a youth, Pam was known to be very determined. She played
sports throughout her teens and was given the name
"Rubber-Band" due to her flexibility. Pamela graduated from
Highland Secondary School in 1985. She moved to Vancouver
at 21 years old and worked as a fitness instructor.

In 1989, Pamela experienced her first major career break.
Some of her friends invited her to go to a Canadian Football
League game with them. One of them was a rep for Labatt's
Breweries, and he had given her a company T-shirt to wear
to the game. During the game, a cameraman captured her
image and displayed it on the big screen, resulting in a very
resounding response from the crowd. Later, since Labatt's
had noticed the response from the crowd, they offered her a
job modeling for the company, and her posters were soon
found in bars and restaurants all over Canada.

Next, Pamela and one of her photographers submitted some
pictures to Playboy magazine. This led to her being featured
on the cover of one of the 1989 issues of Playboy. Pamela's
career really took off after this point. She also moved to Southern
California in 1989. Pamela gained her first major TV role during
1991-1993 on the sitcom "Home Improvement", and served a
major role as C.J. Parker on the TV show "Baywatch" from
1992-1997.

Pamela married musician Tommy Lee of "Motley Crue" in 1995
after knowing each other for only a brief time period. They had 2
sons, Brandon and Dylan. The two finally divorced a few years
later. Since then, she has been engaged to male model Marcus
Schenkenburg until 2001, and musician Kid Rock until 2003.
Pamela has had relations with Bret Michaels of the band
"Poison", actor Scott Baio, David Charvet of "Baywatch", affairs
with Sylvestor Stallone, Eric Nies, Fred Durst, Ben Affleck,
Dean Cain, Stephen Dorff, Rikki Lee Travolta and Kelly Slater.

Pamela has appeared on the cover of Playboy at least a dozen
times.

Pamela is recognized as an animal rights activist, and in 1999
she was granted the Linda McCartney Award for animal rights
activists.

Unfortunately, Pam was diagnosed with Hepatitis C in 2002, a
form of liver inflammation. Pam has become the spokesperson
for the American Liver Foundation.

Pam became a naturalized citizen in 2004 while retaining her
Canadian citizenship.
